What would totally blow the lid off the Proclaim experience is the possibility of preaching from my iPad with notes and maintaining control over the sermon section of the presentation from the same iPad. That would be amazing.
I agree. Viewing notes (and slide content) on the iPad while controlling would be the PERFECT application!
We have a spec for exactly what you described. Look for it in the near future!
Scott, what can be done with sermon notes now, I have no idea how to do anything with that, and where will we find out about this new stuff you mentioned?
Hi Peter - and welcome to the forums
This is a very old note and, now, the Proclaim remote control app (available on iOS and Android) allows you to control presentations and show speaker notes remotely.
i created a couple of lines of notes to demonstrate this in the screenshot below
Worth looking at this app.

Ever since the update a few weeks back, when the UI was changed, I have not been able to see my notes on my Kindle Fire. It shows slides only, no notes. I thought maybe it was my Kindle only but when I tried it on my Android smartphone it did the same thing.
This was the main reason why I subscribed but if that feature has been altered and taken away in the Android version then it would sadly be of no use to us. Is there an alternate place to access the notes now with the update?
This is probably a dumb question. How do you enter sermon notes? Thanks for any help.
Hi Keith,
In Proclaim, each service item has a tab called "notes" where you can add them. They don't even have to be sermon notes, per se. I find them most useful on announcement service items.
Yes, the notes can be entered in the main program but they are no longer visible in a control device like and Android phone of Kindle. I'm waiting on a response as to why I can no longer see my sermon notes on my Kindle or Android smartphone after the update. All I see now is slides and there is no icon to press to access the notes. It used to be that you could view the notes alongside the slides but that went away with the update. Since I teach on Sunday's from my notes, the feature is essential for me to have. I'll probably end up calling because it's been a while that this has been going on.

Sorry you're having trouble. I'll have someone from our customer service team follow up.
Thanks. In the meantime I went ahead and reinstalled the app on both my Kindle and my phone. Still the same issue. I also talked to someone at Logos in the Tier 2 tech support (Adam I believe was his name) and there didn't seem to be a fix. We decided to wait to see what happens when I reinstall it. I've done that on both devices and it's the same exact thing.
I've uploaded a video so that you can see the problem first hand. Here's the the link:

I do notice that both of my devices are android and they both exhibit the same problem though the versions are different. I have even uninstalled software that I thought may be the issue but no dice. If anyone has ideas on how I may be able to remedy this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
God bless.
I can confirm that this indeed does work on the iPad, so it must be an Android/Kindle based problem. I don't have an android based device or I would test it out for you. Sorry you're having trouble!
Hello David,
Sorry to hear about your frustrations. I was able to reproduce your issue with sermon notes on an android device and will be filing a bug report shortly. I also noticed you were having issues with navigating through your presentation, so I will make note of that as well. However, if you control a presentation when on-air, you should be able to click an icon in the upper right hand corner which will open a menu where you can jump to any service item.
You should be able to do the following:
At this point you should have control of the presentation and be able to view the notes. Which presentation of yours was giving you trouble?
Keith, are you making sure you upload your slides to the server rather than keeping them on your laptop or desktop?
Okay I will check out your presentation here shortly and report with my findings.
