Just a heads up for those anticipating it. That's James: Evangelical Exegetical Commentary by Will Varner. That makes four now from the EEC.

Yay!  It surprised me too!

I think you can still get it at the pre-pub price.  http://bit.ly/TSBpaB

It just downloaded for me now as well (singular pre-pub, not EEC subscriber).

One question: Footnote 3 refers to a "List of Select Commentaries" (where to find Dibelius as well as e.g. Blomberg, etc. which are cited throughout) I couldn't find this anywhere - the many chapter-based bibliographies and the three-part bibliography at the end contain everything but the commentaries.

Based on your EEC-experience: Is this List to be expected and missing from the James resource in this series (so we would need to flag a typo/bug and have Logos update it) or did the "List" only refer to a list of cross-references internally and the resource links to other Logos books (or the website) cover up for it? Or did I just overlook something?

I was about to point you to the end of the Introduction, after the selected Bibliography, for a list of over 50 commentaries that I submitted in the manuscript. That list is in the PDF of the commentary that I have. This must have been an inadvertent omission, and I will bring it to their attention immediately (they probably already know this by now). Fortunately it is an easy fix and should download very soon.

Thanks, Will!

That was what I suspected (omission) - and hoped for (easy fix, should download soon).

I very much appreciate that you as an author show some visibility here in the forums - thanks a lot for this.

I just went through the Introduction chapters and it looks very promising. I like it very much. It looks it will be one of my favorite James commentaries. Thank you Logos, thanks to the author for a great work. Yes

Thanks everyone for the feedback. As Will pointed out, the Commentaries Bibliography was omitted by mistake. It will be incorporated in a download soon.

Thanks. This will come as a separate (additional) file to commentary? Martin.

No, Martin. This bibliography will be added to the commentary and will be downloaded automatically to replace your commentary.

Few months later now and i can't find a link to download the commentary...the Logos page that comes up through a Google search says when it loads that it can't find what i was looking for and I can't find the commentary listed anywhere else except for the full EEC subscription page...
