I'm having issues streaming the Living Bible on both my iPhone and iPad whether I'm on Wi-Fi or on the cellular network. The app just keeps sitting there with a spinning pinwheel. Both devices have iOS 8.1. The iPhone is a 5s and the iPad is an iPad Air. I can post more specs if need be.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue - do you have a large number of notes in that resource?

I don't believe I do. I've done my best to turn off too many notes in my Bibles. The thing it is just flat never loads. It just stays there streaming.

Double check. I don't think turning off the notes would make much of a difference. They are still there, just hidden visually.

Just left it sitting there for about 20 minutes, and still not loading. Should I try Rebuild Index then a full app re-install if that doesn't help?

I don't think it will help, and I don't think it is related... but it can't hurt... so why not. Smile

I'm not sure if that will help or not... but that is nuclear. It would be better to try each of these first:

  1. Do a full shut down of the device.
  2. Delete the resource and try using online.
  3. Redownload and try downloaded

Thanks for the info. I am streaming it, so it's not downloaded. I'll try Rebuild Index and re-starting the device first. If that doesn't work, then I'll try re-installing the app.

What's weird is it's happening on both iPhone and iPad. That's what I'm having an issue with...

Downloading it did immensely help on the iPad. It serves up blazing fast now. I'll try it on the iPhone as well. Since I use it with my devotionals, I'll keep it downloaded. Thanks a bunch for your help!

My bibles do the same thing and won't download on on Iphone 4 since the last app update...

This issue is fixed in test builds and should be resolved in the 4.4.2 release.
