What happened to the Explore Section of the homepage under Verbum 8? It is completely filled with advertisements instead of the mix of valuable information that was there with Verbum 7.

Also, I cannot find anyway to customize what appears in the Explore Section. I am sure there was a way in Verbum 7 under settings.

This seems to be a step backwards in the value of that section.

Correct ... Explore is a temporary step backward but the ability to customize should be  available in one of the early 6 week development cycles.  This sort of thing in reiterative development is referred to as "run out of time".

You mean that they simply chose not to implement it. :(

Seeing the home page is the one section we see every time we load the software, it would have behooved them to get it right from the beginning. Not a good way to minimize post-purchase dissonance.

C'est la vie.

No, I truly mean they ran out of time ... someone had scheduled the usual 36 hour programmer days. Wink

I'll be keeping a close eye on this, as we'll definately want the ability to customize that Explore space.  As MJ mentions, we should, hopefully, be able to prioritize this sooner rather than later.
