Is there a 1900-ish KJV with pericopes available?  If not why not? I suggest one.

the only KJV'ish bible in Logos that I know of is the NKJV. It does have pericopes.

Webster's 1833 KJV has pericopes (but if I see it right, no data set for the pericope boundary analysis graph)

If not why not?

For the simple reason that the pericopes were defined by the Anglican lectionary as was the situation at its original printing.

Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."

Hi GaoLu:

This post (and see following) links to a Personal Book that allows you to add NRSV pericope boundaries/headings to any bible. Since it's a PB, it will only be available on the desktop. You can edit the heading verbiage or boundaries, if you like. Also, since it just provides an alternate view of the resource,it wouldn't add any other pericope-type functionality to the resource beyond reading.

The Modern English Version has them. Excellent version. I call it the KJV2014. :)

Thanks to each of you for great responses.

NKJV and Websters do contain pericopes but neither are classic expected KJV texts.

MJ, that is interesting about pericopes and lectionaries--that tidbit is a keeper.

Thanks too, Robert, for your contribution for obtaining pericopes.  That's a good Idea and I will use it.

I have an armload of KJV's around here and most (not all) have pericopes.  Surely Logos can find just one publisher that will offer KJV text with pericopes for sale.

Amen?
