HI!

I haven´t been able to upgrade since the Beta 3 of this version (I´ve tried booth during beta 4 and Beta 5)
I always get a Runtime Error message (Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library) when using the installer.
And since the last weeks Logos 4 says there are no updates even then it´s set du beta channel.
Strange...

I´ve solved this issue for the moment by saving the update-file, and change the way my Win 7 starts it, to start the file in "Win-XP mode"

I tried the "set update channel to beta" on my Compac Presario F700 Notebook PC with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 with 2.00 GB of RAM and an AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 2.00 GHz Processor and 32-bit Operating System. I then had second thoughts about beta testing. I decided to try to go back to the stable Logos 4.2 by deleting all Logos 4 files from the laptop and installing Logos 4 again with the beta, according the advice. After re-installing Logos 4.2 last night,my computer tells me that I still have Logos Bible Software 4.2 (4.20.4.7970) (Update channel: beta). How do I get rid of the "Update channel: beta"?

In the Logos4 command box type in Set Update Channel to Default (should pop up in them drop-down menu as you type).

That's an earlier version. 4.2 is no longer beta. Note the date of the first post (Nov 3).

The next beta version will most likely be called "4.3 beta 1".
