Default Note Font
I changed my note font preference in "preferences' to calibri. I have noticed that when I go to make a new note it comes up with the former note font "Athelos Logos" instead of my selected font "calibri". however, if I hit the space bar once and then backspace BEFORE I begin to insert my note the font will then change to my desired font. I'm sure this is not what should happen!

Am I to assume that since there has been no comments or response that my note behavior is extremely isolated? I would think that once you selected a font in your preferences for the note font that it should be defaulted there from the beginning. I should not have to hit a key and then backspace for the default font to appear!

I have the same problem. Additionally, with some notes they will simply change fonts or font size.

Glad I'm not the only one. Not sure if this is known or unknown behavior by the "powers to be" or if there is a "fix" in the works. It is certainly a small thing but the purpose of these betas is to find things like this. Thanks for the response.

Thread => Can't Change default font for my notes. has similar issue with stable 4.5b release.
Wiki Feature Parity list includes:
- PC Notes default font works, but Mac needs workaround – Logos 4.5b regression

Initially I was not able to reproduce the issue by changing the Default Notes Font in Program Settings. However, I had my default set in the Note panel to Optima, where the default set in the Program Settings panel had been 'Default' (which is Athelas Logos.) When I changed the Note panel default from Optima to 'Default' the issue appeared.
I will report the issue to Development for investigation.
In the meantime, a marginally better workaround is to set the default in the Note panel to the font you want (by pressing 'Esc' to make sure no note item has focus and selecting the font you want) rather than changing the Default in Program Settings. That should work. (Be forewarned that Mac will not allow 'Default' to display in the Note panel font selector after it is initially set, so it may look like you're selecting the same font.)

I noticed that L4 MAC doesn't save a change in defaults to the note color either. The default is yellow and no matter how I change and save the default to another color the next time the program is opened again the yellow note color and font is back to original also.

This issue should be fixed in 4.5c Beta 4.

Are you referring to the note indicator color? If so, I'm not able to reproduce any issues with setting the default color/style for note indicators.
It would be helpful if you could provide reproduction steps for the issue or a screencast (I personally use Jing by TechSmith, but there are other screencasting programs that would work.)0
