Not sure when it started, I didn't use favorites until just a few weeks ago. I was on the 4.5c beta when I first noticed it--I think.

Likewise replicated this issue using 4.53.0.2280 on Mac and PC so added reference to this thread in Feature Parity list:
- PC Favorites shows folder titles while Mac is truncated

- PC Favorites shows folder titles while Mac is truncated
Confirmed fix in 4.53.0.2294 on Mac so removed this item from Feature Parity list.

Yes, I saw, but I don't know anything more than you I'm afraid. I never tried to reproduce the issue. I just noticed it was similar to a supposedly fixed bug, and linked the two together.
