Can i transfer books from my personal library to my logos and how do i do that?
Hi Matthew, I am not sure of your question? Are asking if you have a hard copy of a book and Logos has an electronic version of the book, can you add that book to your library? Only if you pay Logos money for the electronic copy. Think of it this way. If you purchased a hard cover of a book, and now you want a soft cover of the same book. You will need to purchase the soft cover book, and you would not receive a discount for owning the hard cover. The same thing is true with electronic versions of book (doesn't matter if it is for Logos, Kindle, ect...).
If you already have an electronic copy of the book (for a Kindle as an example), you could convert it to a PB, but you could be violating copyright laws. Plus, you will have to add all of the milestones to the PB.
thanks tom for responding. no i wasnt talking about hard copies, i was talking about electronic versions like pdf formats. the books im talking about wouldnt be infringing on any copyright laws because the writer freely gives them on his website in pdf format. what is a PB? how do i covert it to a PB? and what do u mean by "adding all of the milestones to the PB?"
PB means personal book. Search for personal book wiki in the forums.
thx
what is a PB?
Welcome [:D]
PB = Personal Book; wiki has => Personal Books that includes information for converting Microsoft docx files into personal book resources for your Logos use.
Depends on Portable Document File (PDF) format whether conversion to docx is trivlal or not. Thread => PDF in Personal Book Builder may be helpful.

Would you mind sharing the link as other Logos users might find them helpful and useful to create Personal Book versions for their libraries?
