4.0a Beta 1 Release Notes

4.0a Beta 1 was released last Friday.

Bug Fixes:

• Parallel resource navigation now allows wrapping from the end to the beginning of the list and vice-versa.
• The Bible Explorer remembers closed sections.
• Citations in Power Lookup are now always right-justified (incl. for RTL languages).
• Clicking lectionary elipsis now opens lectionary.
• The preferred bible tool now moves to the end of the list when the bible is changed if it has never been moved before.
• Default font size is now properly applied to new notes.
• Clippings are no longer suggested twice in Handout suggestions.
• Fixed bug where toolbar would disappear in reading view (most commonly noticed when using Add Tab while in reading view).
• OpenText clause analysis will now show glossary tips for nodes.
• Passage Guide collection section will now use collection title when first loaded.
• Read alout visual cue no longer hides floating windows.
• Bible Word Study guides are now case insensitive. Any existing saved guides which are different only by case will be displayed in the "See also" guide header.
• Removed Graph Bible Results from New Tab panel.
• Notes no longer automatically selects the first note when opened.

New Features:

• Added Explain press F9 to explain the current screen.
• Added pattern matching for lemmas. lemma:?[hny]?@V* searches for middle weak verbs. (Hopefully Bradley will give more details on the supported syntax when he gets back from SBL.)
• Added Datasheet to bible and morph searches.
  • Drag column header above datasheet to group by that column. Drag multiple columns to create multiple columns.
  • Drag the Static column separator tot he left of the first column to cause columns to stick when scrolling horizontally.
  • Click column header to sort that column. shift+click to add additional sorting.
  • Right click column header to add or remove columns.
• Added multi verse support to Copy Bible Verses.
• Added hit counts to concordance results in passage guide sections with a ring graph.
• Added searching indicator to Reading list searches.
• Bible Word Study will no longer create a duplicate guide when there is a previously saved guide for the lemma using a different analysis type.
• Added Ctrl+H shortcut for History
• Added new styles for the Ctrl+Drag distance calculation in Biblical Places maps.
• Added two new handout styles.
• Added new look to topics and important words in passage guide.
