BUG?: LDGNT No Longer Displaying Bold with SBL Greek Font and LDHB No Longer Tagged for Series
The Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament (LDGNT) has stopped displaying emphatic constituents in bold with respect to the SBL Greek font. This has never been a problem for me in the year or so since I have used LDGNT. I recently upgrade to Logos 5, but I am not certain that this contributed to my problem. Other fonts still work; otherwise, I have begun using visual filters as temporary work around. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I also raised an issue in an old thread concerning the Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible (LDHB), which warrants a new thread. André Kamphuis has confirmed the problem described below:
Adam Olean said:Serial resource association worked for me up until recently. I just checked checked the "Series" tag in my Logos library, and lo and behold, only LDGNT and HDNT are tagged! LDHB and HDOT apparently lost their tags at some point. Is anyone else having this problem? Did it arise with a recent update to the Lexham Discourse Bible series?
By the way, Steven, all of your discourse resources have been very useful to me. Thank you for your labor! Now, I am anticipating the release of Isaiah and Jeremiah in LDHB. Logos would also benefit if it offered Stephen Levinsohn's writings.

Actually, I should add that SBL Greek font is not displaying bold in Logos 5 at all, at least on my computer. Another example includes the lexical entries in BDAG. Other fonts do work, however. In addition, SBL Greek still functions properly in Word 2010. Perhaps someone can try to duplicate this problem in Logos 5. I will update Windows and see if that helps. At the very least, fonts look much better in Logos with NET 4.5.

This is a known issue in Logos 5 when selecting a Greek font that doesn't have a bold version: the software fails to simulate bold. We will be fixing it in a future update. For now, a workaround is to select a Greek font that does have a bold typeface available, e.g., the "Default" Greek font.

Bradley,
Thank you for you explaining this problem to me. Dr. Steven Runge took care of the tagging issue on LDHB and HDOT. http://community.logos.com/forums/p/55795/462178.aspx#462178

This should be fixed in the next beta.
