Windows 8.1 update
I have updated my Sony laptop Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Logos 5 has stopped working. That is the message I get when I try to start Logos 5.
Any ideas?

Stop, kneel, pray.
Return Laptop.
Continue on with normal life as usual.
Wait for Jesus to come back again. I predict Logos will not function on any affordable touch tablet anytime soon.

Hi Terry,
Unfortunately the Logos log isn't helping. But it's probable that Windows' Event Viewer will help us track down the problem. There are instructions here which should help you identify the right part of the error log. If you can paste that information here, we'll try to help.

The "faulting module" is an Intel video driver; it is most likely the source of the crashes.
Try looking for an updated driver in Windows Updates, then try using the Intel Driver Update Utility: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu

Even the latest versions of the 8.1 Intel HD drivers are still a little buggy on my new system. So this could well be the underlying cause of OP's problems. (Although, Logos is working fine on my 8.1 Pro clean install so far.)

Thanks, Bradley. I will check it out.

There are a number of issues that have been reported with intel video drivers and 8.1 ( I have the problem myself) https://communities.intel.com/thread/45727
Installing older versions of the drivers seems to help in most cases. I think the thread above has some more specifics. Intel is working on a fix but has not released it yet.

Hmm... I have had a similar experience. Will check event viewer. I know my ATI HD 7770 drivers are dodgy, and have meant to upgrade them for a while now. Hopefully that is the solution!
Will post logs and event viewer info on my thread in Logos 5.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

Intel's new HD Graphics drivers version 15.33.64.3345 could be an update to get. Head on to http://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx for it
