When attempting to open/play a Faithlife Video Logos is crashing. This has happened each time I've attempted to access one of the video's. I'm running ver 5.2 SR-2 (5.2.0.0086)
Attached is the log files86446.Logos Log Files.zip
It looks like it is trying to find the video file in your WebCache directory C:\Users\Rick%20Williams\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\vzwyeasx.5ry\WebCache and it is not there. Is there anything in that folder? Have you downloaded the video files or are you trying to stream them?
I'm away from my office so I can't look. I'm not sure how Logos handles those resources. All I can say at this point they appear in my collection and work on my laptop which I'm using now. I'd assume they should be on the HD and not streamed.
I've reported this bug.
It looks like the program is incorrectly URL-escaping a local file path. You could try manually creating all the folders in the path, to see if that stops the crash. Open an Admin Command Prompt and paste in:
mkdir "C:\Users\Rick%20Williams\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\vzwyeasx.5ry\WebCache\"
I accessed the computer and there is a "C:\Users\Rick%20Williams\AppData\Local\Logos5\Data\vzwyeasx.5ry\WebCache\ directory. There are 5 files in it: 0ket5zdo.m2s, CacheData.db, CacheData.db-journal, ekn1bcoy.xun and fiehrgid.mfi
Thanks for the quick reply; sounds like my proposed workaround won't work. We'll work on resolving this issue as quickly as possible; in the meantime, I think you will need to avoid video resources on your computer. I apologise for the inconvenience.
Not a problem, I primarily was checking because of the SR report of the issue with videos. It isn't something I look at very often. Thank you also for the quick reply as well.

This should be fixed in 5.2 SR-3.
SR-3 appears to have fixed the issue. Thank you.
