Thanks MJ. I especially like the cover.
Thank you for this little tract. It is very interesting from the source site (http://bookofconcord.org) made me initially think before reading it, that it was drawn from concord. Anyway I am glad for this chart.

Thanks a lot, MJ!
This file once again shows the idiosyncrasies of bible references throughout time and translation editions.
Looking closer at the references shows that some in the OT don't "prove" (or at least are in a meaningful connection to) the excerpt from the creed, since the references are one verse off.
Since the source of this compilation is claimed to be a Lutheran work from the 17th century, it is safe to assume the unknown author used a Luther Bible for his/her references. For a reason unknown to me, some bibles count the introductory remarks (like "a psalm of David when he was fleeing from Saul, sing to the tune of XYZ") in Psalms as verse 1, whereas others leave these as unnumbered titles and start at the "real" verses. Luther Bibles have this different than the Logos default. This issue makes verse references in some Psalms off by one, in some off by two and in many Psalms there's no difference. I know this from my Daily Texts/Watchwords project.
From Mark's post in this thread I know how to have dynamic references go to bible text according to a specific bible datatype. Very cool feature. I replced all references with one going to Luther's 1912 edition (there is a datatype for the 1545 edition, but since I don't own that book I was reluctant). I could get the right dynamic text now for five of the Psalms references that otherwise would be off.
(Aside: The Luther 1912 datatype doesn't recognize Wisdom, even though an orthodox Lutheran theologian in the 17th century would use this book to source the Apostle's Creed!)
But like in my own files: the issue with the dynamic text is solvable, the issue with the milestone probably as well, but the "surface text" will then be wrong. Thus I opted for adapting the five references to Logos default which will allow for a better usability of this file.
See attached: 6433.Apostles Creed harmony.updated.docx (corrected one or two redactional issues on the way, too)
Thank you NB that's a big help.
Thanks so much for sharing!!
