Hey!
So, we're pretty novice at projectors, screen sizes and such. But, or maybe so, we need help.
We have a pretty unique - and need a very precise - projector image to screen size. Long story short, we covered a window in our church, making it a screen - and it's tricky because the windows shape is a triangle shape, and that's what we project onto. It's been great for a year but now our old projector is dead. In playing around with some projectors I'm noticing that while 16.9 seems to be pretty close to what we need filling most of the screen, 4.3 is tiny - almost like it's resizing inside of proclaim.
My question is: Why? why does 16.9 fit most of screen, but 4.3 isn't even close? Is it a Proclaim thing? Is it a projector setting? If we buy a new projector what should we be looking for? In the projectors that we have been looking at some offer 16.10 and this seems to give us a real good fit - but will that work in Proclaim?
The reason that 4.3 is important is due to the shape of our screen and the template we already have made to make square images fit the 'triangle' shape.
Thanks for the help!
