Hello!
My name is Daniel Motley and I have recently come aboard as the new Baptist Product Manager. I have been at Faithlife since May 2014, working as the Products Promotions Coordinator. I grew up attending my local Baptist church and came to faith as a 10 year old. After high school, I attended a Kentucky Baptist Convention affiliated university. I was a youth pastor for two years at a Baptist church close to the university and I was also a pastoral intern at a local Baptist church. After graduating, I attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I again interned at a local Baptist church while working part time at Best Buy. Upon graduating SBTS, my wife and I moved to Washington to work at Logos.
I'm passionate about putting awesome digital tools in the hands of Baptist pastors, seminarians, and lay people. I believe that Logos Bible Software can help pastors better prepare sermons, seminarians better understand the Biblical text and theology, and lay people better learn what the Word has to say to them.
I'll be dropping into the forums occasionally so feel free to ask any questions regarding the software and all things Baptist!

Blessings to you sir, and happy to have you on board!
Not sure if SBTS would allow it, but you might see if they can provide you with the current semesters book list... might be a good place to start. I know I have mixed success getting my required texts in Logos.
Willing to email you the handful that I have on my computer at present.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

Thank you all so much for being so kind!
abondservant - Thank you for all of the recommendations that I saw you make in the other forum posts. I'm always happy to hear about omissions from our current catalog. In the next few weeks there are some works coming through that fill a gap missing in our current Baptist offerings. I'm hoping to add even more works by Baptists and for Baptist over the next few months.

Thank you Daniel! I will be looking forward to what is to come. I am a new Logos Platinum Baptist and Standard customer and while I do not know the half of what this software can do. I am really looking forward to finding out. It has been an incredible help in sermon prep and in my Bible College Studies at Columbia International University.
