Generally, we only use Proclaim in our children's church service and there it works great. I absolutely love it. However, on the very rare occasions that we use it in our church sanctuary, the music minister tells me that it totally messes up his system and takes him hours to recalibrate it. This makes absolutely no sense to me. He has a new MAC in the sanctuary and there are three projectors that are connected. Now, there are issues with the projectors because of a wiring issue, but he tells me that everything gets off balance and out of sync simply because of the Proclaim program. He told me that he conferred with another church that uses the program and that they have similar issues, but honestly, I can not wrap my head around this. Am I missing something? Could the Proclaim program mess up a brand new Mac just by being used? Our music minister uses Powerpoint for everything and so really does not have much knowledge of any other system that I am aware of. Could it just be that the program is so much better than the powerpoint (as in clearer, sharper, etc) that when he goes back it has trouble reverting? I'm just trying to figure out what it could be. He has asked me never to use Proclaim on that computer again...which I find sad. But, as I said, we rarely ever used it there anyway, but still...the problem absolutely flummoxes me. Thoughts?
