Supported OS X Versions

As of May 1, 2015 Proclaim will no longer support OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). This change in OS X version support will allow us to continue making Proclaim even better!

Upgrading to Yosemite (10.10) should be free if you're coming from a version of OS X currently supported by Proclaim.

We'll be tracking OS X version usage and listening to your feedback in the coming days. Please reply back to this thread or give customer service a call at 800-875-6467 if you have any questions.

The Mac I use to present is running 10.9, Mavericks. It is a machine from 2008 and will not update any further.

Does this mean that once May approaches we need to buy a new computer?

10.9 will be fine. It's only support for 10.8 that we're dropping.

So, smaller churches, who can't afford to upgrade their Macs, will have no ability to use Proclaim any more?

The OS X upgrade required by Proclaim should be free.
