Josef Pieper Collection (8 vols.)
It's a good start, but I had hoped to see his Leisure: The Basis of Culture, also from Ignatius Press and one of his most popular works, so it surprised me that it's not in the collection.
In fact, none of the top three hits for Pieper on Amazon.com are in this collection, and lots of others are missing, so these should make up the next Pieper collection, at least the ones from Ignatius:
Thanks for bring the collection to my attention. I suspect we will continue to get more of his works.
Not familiar with him, but I will probably get his book on The End of Time when this collection gets broken up. Be interesting to see what he has to say.
Well, what do you know! How timely. A recommendation of Josef Pieper and his Leisure: The Basis of Culture at 11:40-19:09 in this Google Tech Talk which I just happen to be listening to right now ("No Time to Think" by David Levy), following on a recommendation of an article about him in the Chronicle of Higher Education: http://chronicle.com/article/Youre-Distracted-This/138079
