Using iphone/ipad as presentation computer with new update

Hi All,

I installed the app update this weekend and was discouraged to learn that a blue banner has been added to the top of each slide with the presentation date and a tool bar always shows at the bottom. We are a small church plant and run Proclaim directly through an ipad or iphone connected directly to the projector. Is there any way to make the banner/toolbar go away?

Hi Jessica,

I'm sorry, there's currently no way to remove the toolbar. The remote was designed to control a presentation that's taken on-air from the desktop; it was never designed to be used in isolation. Could you describe your setup? Do you not have an internet-connected computer in the sanctuary?

We are a small church plant renting a facility from an aging congregation- no wi-fi, no computer system on-site. I am sure that other users of Proclaim may enjoy the convenience of the toolbar, but it renders the program completely unusable for us. I'm now stuck preparing our Easter service on Google drive. I wish I had known that Proclaim would be unusable for us before I installed the new update and before I purchased a year of service. What a waste.

Sorry to hear that the new remote is causing you issues. We discussed this morning and we think we can make the remote auto hide the top and bottom bars. This will come in a future release. Are you using Apple TV in your setup? Trying to think of possible workarounds while you wait for the update...

A fix has been implemented on the iOS remote to hide the top and bottom bars. This should be shipped soon; I will update this thread when the update is published to the app store.
