Add text onto background added from Powerpoint.

Is there a way to add and edit text boxes onto a background slide that I upload from Powerpoint? It's a bother to have to make the background a picture, then add it as a foreground pic just to be able to add text.

Should be a simple way to add a background that I create in Powerpoint, then turn it into whatever slide type I want (e.g. apply an announcement template, a Bible template, a content template, etc).

Right now the easiest method to accomplish this is to use PPT to export the presentation as images, then use the "Upload files" option in the Proclaim Media Library to upload the images. This will make them available to most service item kinds.
