We see many videos on various approaches to sermon building. The post for Good Friday is an approach to devotional use. http://scripturestudysoftware.com/2015/04/03/the-seven-last-words-of-jesus/?utm_medium=feed&utm_source=FeedPress&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ScriptureStudySoftware+%28Scripture+Study+Software%29 It is well worth your watching.
Wow, this is great training and great stuff, even with a nugget of insight I was not aware of!
MJ - many thanks for posting, appreciated.
Fr. Devin - many thanks for the video, some really helpful insights there.
Excellent video by Fr. Devin. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
MJ, is there a way to specifically sign up to receive notice of these Verbum training videos when they are posted? I tried looking for a way but was not successful. I even went to https://www.logos.com/account/mailinglists but could not see this option.
Hi Bruce,
Try the e-mail list manager over on the Verbum website.

Steve, thanks for the reminder that there are different email lists fo Verbum and Logos. I have signed up for both of these before but had forgotten about Verbum.
That being said, I still don't see the option to have the Verbum training videos or blog emailed. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious. Here is what I am seeing.
Hmmm ..... I'm seeing the same thing and that's a good point, Bruce. I do not see something specific to training videos either.
I double-checked my e-mail and I did not receive one from Verbum about Fr. Roza's video on the blog. That seemed odd to me so I went back and looked for e-mails for any of the videos on the site and came up empty. I thought I had received those in the past.
Maybe its a mixed bag depending on how Verbum decides to communicate the information. For example, all of the Lenten e-mails I've received this year are coming from promotions@logosmail.com. None of them referenced Fr. Roza's video.
Also, maybe because I am a frequent visitor to the site I assumed I was seeing an e-mail when, in fact, I was not.
You may be aware of this already, but there is a tab on the site for Training. You would have to remember to go there periodically, but at least you can find them easily when you are there.

I think you have a good suggestion to put on the Catholic Forum. [:)]
Although it runs a bit behind there is also the Reading List Verbum Practicum w/ Verbum Blog Training
Thanks Steve and MJ. I am coming to the conclusion that there is actually no email list for Verbum blogs but it would be nice if there was such a list in the future.
I'll shoot an email to Alex with the question re: email for the blog.
This was nagging me and I finally figured out where I kept seeing the information concerning the Verbum Blog ... It's on my Verbum homepage; a configuration check box set to display Verbum Blog.
Doh! [:$]
Thanks MJ. I think there may be others that would appreciate this too.
Hello all!
Please feel free to subscribe to email updates from our blog here: http://feedpress.me/ScriptureStudySoftware(you can get here by clicking the RSS symbol on any page of the blog.)
We currently do not have a separate channel for training-specific blogs.
As Steve noted, we push blog posts to the Verbum app home page, and we also share them via twitter and the Verbum Faithlife group, so setting up notifications for the group would also put blog notifications in your inbox.
We do not manually create the blog emails like we do with our marketing emails, which is why the list doesn't live on the Verbum Email Lists page.
I hope that makes sense.
Also, if you liked the Good Friday blog, you should know that Fr. Devin is working on several training videos for us: the first of which is free as part of the Easter sale. Enjoy!
