Grammars in the Exegetical Guide
As I am playing with the exegetical guide, I am realizing that grammars that would be triggered in 3.0 are not being referenced in 4.0. I am not sure if I am to blame (not selecting the correct option somewhere, or if the grammars are not all set to work in the exegetical guide).

What grammars are you missing that you expect?

GCK for starters. Running the same exegetical guide in 3.0 as I did in 4.0, and that is a grammar that was not triggered.

Adam,
I don't have GKC, but try this:
Open My Library and bring up GKC. I'm assuming it shows up in the library at this point. Click on "View", then right click in the field area and add "Type." What is the "type" listed for GKC? I'm guessing it is listed as "Monograph" and not "Grammar." There seem to be a lot of resources at this point tagged as "monograph" almost as if it is a placeholder. If the type is incorrectly tagged, the exegetical guide wouldn't grab it.

I can reproduce this. I'll report it. Thanks, Adam.

David, I am not seeing where I can add type. Also what do you mean by field area?
Thanks,
Adam

Glad to help!

Adam,
Sorry, I should have attached a picture. Here you go:
The picture shows what I'm calling the "field area." That's probably not the technical name, but it works for me. The pop up column with all the checkboxes (where it says "Choose the various "fields" here) is what appears when you right click anywhere in the "field area."
Let me know if you have any more questions about this. This same method works when you are building collections.

Thanks David. They are all actually labeled correctly. I guess this is just something that will have to be fixed for the next beta.

Any idea when this feature will be fixed?

Hello Adam ~ Have you tried this again in Beta 5? ~ Thanks, Melissa

Hello Melissa,
I have and the Hebrew Grammars are still not being triggered in the exegetical guide.

Hello Melissa,

Thanks, I've reported it again. I'm not getting Gesenius' Grammar, either, but I do have other Hebrew grammars listed. Perhaps you don't have licenses for those. For instance, searching Gen 1.1, my 'Grammars' results include Hebrew Bible Insert: A Student's Guide to the Syntax of Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew for Beginners, Davidson's Introductory Hebrew Grammar, and An Introduction to Biblical Hebrew Syntax.

Hello Melissa, your welcome. I do have the Hebrew Bible Insert, and that is coming up; however, Davidson's grammar, which I have in 3.0, is not getting triggered in a search of Genesis 1:1 (nor is GKC).
