It would be very helpful if the "New To You" feature, found in base package upgrade webpages, could be implemented for bundle pages.
It would be very helpful if the "New To You" feature, found in base package upgrade webpages, could be implemented for bundle pages. Yes it would be helpful. This has been requested many times but to no avail. The only way we can find out what resources are new to us is call or email a Sales rep.
Well, we can be like Santa: Making a list, checking it twice.
Copying the bundle content to an Excel spreadsheet and using the respective Logos Product Collection (join the group and look at the documents tab) as a filter in the library helps to faster check-off the owned items - alternatively one can follow the links to the product pages & take note of grey buy-buttons.
All of this is of course some effort and I'm sure Logos is losing dollars right now because people shy away from it and then choose not to buy. They may at the same time also win dollars because people call sales and get talked into buying a larger bundle and some additional resources that are on a silent sale. I don't know if they have a metric on bundle-page-views that did not result in a buy, comparing the percentage with that of single-resource page-views in the same price range and thus being able to gauge the loss and weigh it against development effort and the impact from Sales where "reason-for-call: confused about bundle content 'New to Me' " is recorded (if it is).
I have noticed that bundles now have dynamic prices, so this may be something in the works.
A request was made to have the product pages open the resource in our librry if we own it, and this is somehthing that they say is also in the works.
