Hello again,

2 questions,

First, can you suggest a video card that works without disabling hardware acceleration? (Dell Optiplex 980)

Disabling hardware acceleration makes my presentation below par. Installed is an ATI Radeon 4550

Usually if I exit out of Proclaim and re start it works fine but still having issues.

Second, A couple of weeks ago, I tried adding anouncment slides to the pre service loop first and then wanted to do the service portion but couldn't get into the service section. All I could do was go to warm up section. I am now putting all slides into the service and dragging anouncments to the pre service loop section. Am I doing something wrong or is this the way it was intended to work.

Hi Joe

The item you add next is added below the last one you clicked on and selected.

If you drag your first item into the pre-service loop you will have drag the first item you want in the service back into that section.

Once you have done this (once per service) then subsequent items will be added below (subject to the item in the Service section being selected.

Unfortunately we don't have a great answer for this, other than most video cards do not reproduce the issue.

Looking back at one of your older posts and I see you're experiencing freezing of video playback, not crashing. I also see that you're using an HDMI input from the computer to the video distributor. Are you able to reproduce the video freezing when you bypass the splitter? My concern is that your issue may not be video card related and this would help verify.

Yes, I am outputing from the video card using HDMI to our video distributor. I don't believe this is causing the video problems because this happen sometimes when I preview the video before going on air.
