Question on new EGW resource
I currently have a version of EGW's materials in logos. (I think I got it over 10 years ago.) It is poorly tagged.
My question is, what will happen practically, when the new EGW lifeworks collection comes out?
Will I have two versions of, say, Desire of Ages? What will happen to any notes/highlights I may have?

When the new version comes out you will automatically receive the download.

Based on previous experience the highlights should carry over.

Hello Brian, I asked this same question before and Martin Weber gave me his answer here. See what you think, I hope it helps:

I still can't provide a definite date for the accomplishment of this massive project; it's my highest priority collection. Shouldn't be too long (I know I said that six months ago!).

I have the Ellen G. White Writings Comprehensive Research Edition 2008 that includes books, pamphlets, periodicals, manuscript releases, other collections (i.e. Spalding/Magan Collection), biography, index, books about Ellen White, White Estate Papers, Webster 1828 dictionary, Words of the Adventist Pioneers and 7 historical reference works. (all are in Folio Views format)
How does the search function in the Lifeworks collection compare with what I have? What other functions will it have compared to the Writings 2008? What functions would not be available by converting what I have to Personal Books? Would it work with Logos 5? (Have to upgrade computer before can upgrade to 6)

I have the comprehensive research edition also Anna, although I have not really learnt the search functions.
While the Logos edition does not have some of the other books that you mentioned, its search capability is better because of its indexing and hyper-linking to other books in the library. When a date is mentioned in her writings, you can see what other events were happening in history by the click of the mouse, helping to put it into context.

I finally have a definitive answer as to when the Ellen G. White Lifeworks will be completely interlinked and downloadable: unfortunately in October, five months from now.
This is for several reasons, among them 1) unprecedented complexities with EGW interlinking so many documents (more than 400) and 2) my prioritization of SDA Gold and Platinum with the first SDA Mobile Ed bundle from Jon Paulien.
Basically I had to choose between using all bandwidth available to SDAs for 1) SDA Gold / Platinum & Mobile Ed or 2) delaying the updating of EGW Lifeworks. In view of the upcoming GC Session and the NAD pastors' conference, I opted to prioritize the new products (pre-pub now, live apx June 21), since we already have EGW in the older format.
In a perfect world we would have everything done, but meanwhile we all do the best we can with what we have available.
Thanks for your collaboration, suggestions and encouragement!
Martin

Have not heard that the Words of the Pioneers are coming to Logos but they are real easy to convert to a Docx file and a PBB.
The Folio Views search works something like wordone NEAR wordtwo.

Thanks Martin, for you work on this. A little disappointing yes, but totally understandable, especially as you say we have the Old EGW format. But the real nice thing is now we have is a tentative month. No more hoping that maybe next week or two or month.

I agree with David, Martin. You've done a bang up job. We can wait. It will get here before we know it.

@David S & @Richard--we are all part of the same team, and I'm glad for our God's blessing upon us.
@David A, it takes awhile to grow any business, including Logos SDA. But we have some momentum now--SDA Platinum is enjoying fabulous support, and the larger we grow our base, the more we can support important additions like Words of the Adventist Pioneers.

And as Martin said "The larger we grow our base, the more we can support important additions"
