Handout bug?

Currently, it seems that the checkboxes on a handout don't do much. I just generated a handout from the passage guide (1 Peter 2:11-12) and edited the handout it produced. While I could delete items by right-clicking on them, I could not uncheck any of the checkboxes.

Currently, clicking on the checkbox moves the item to the bottom of the list, but the boxes remain checked, which is a bug. This will be changed in a future beta.

Is there a way to insert a box of ruled lines where people could write a response or take notes on the handout.

You can Add Blank Item and add lines using the underscore __ key.  The attached screenshot shows lines separated by a space (Notes) and lines that were typed continually (Notes 2).

Unchecking an item moves it to the bottom of the list. Everything that "fits" goes above the dotted line, though, and is by definition checked, which means included. The reason things are staying checked is that there's room for everything. You'll have to delete the item, or include more items "above the line" to push the undesired item off the list. (This will be easier when we finish the excerpts database, which should ensure plenty of content for any handout.)
