Problems with Proclaim Remote App on Android Device

I have tried multiple times over the last few years to use the Proclaim Remote App, and every time I end up with problems in the middle of the service. I try and use the app, so I can sit with my family during the service, but cannot rely on it. Please focus efforts on getting this stable.

I'm sorry to hear the remote is not working for you. Are you on an Android tablet or phone? The reason I ask is we've shipped a new native version of the remote (total rewrite) for iOS phone and tablet and Android phone. We will add support to the new version for Android tablet in the future but we're currently focusing on local wifi control which is a common pain point that will benefit more users.

I tried using a tablet with the latest app this morning, and tried my phone several weeks ago.

The latest Android tablet version is the old version of the app.

It would be worth checking to be sure you have the new version on your phone. You can tell by the Proclaim logo. The old app uses the old purple speech bubble while the new version is a flat light blue.

I expect the local wifi control feature we're working on to improve the overall performance and reliability of the remote.

Update: I was incorrect when I assumed the new Android for phone app was in the Google Play store. It is only available in beta since Google does not let us release the new phone only version. Please try the new version for Anroid phone available here http://downloads.logos.com/Mobile/ProclaimMobile/beta/index.html
