Andrew Fuller and Jonathan Edwards on moral and natural ability/inabiltiy in salvation.

Professor suggested I may enjoy reading these mens perspectives on the extent of the atonement. Anyone know which titles would cover those topics?

Depending on what aspect you are digging into, I would start with The Gospel Worthy of All Acceptance. For Edwards there is in erecting reading in Concerning The Necessity And Reasonableness Of The Christian Doctrine Of Satisfaction For Sin. This should give you good flavor of each author. This is really my favorite subject, and both authose are worth reading on this.
Who's your professor and why is he recommending these?

Actually, I'm not sure if its the professor, or the grader. I wrote an essay on the extent of the atonement, he gave me full credit, and then suggested I may enjoy reading more on the subject.
Sussee is the profs last name. The class is taught by Dr. Nathan Finn. Sussee is the guy that answers questions, and grades our work though.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

Oh man! I knew Dr. Finn when he was Mr. Find . He enlightened me to historical theology. Loved it. He taught Baptist History, said we only had to show up for the midterm and final. I almost took him up on that but his lectures were good so I came to class. Idk his grader. This was 7 years ago or so. If you don't have it, you should totally get From Heaven He Came and Sought Her. May be defi it I've work on Definite Atonement.

I'm not sure if I have that one or not, I'll have to check. Thank you for the suggestions.
Yeah I love Dr. Finn's classes.
I took Baptist History form him last semester. I was not all that excited about the prospect. I've been a few different denominations and was kind of ambivalent on the subject. I always said I was baptist because I like that the missions program fully supports the missionaries.
He asked us on the first day who was there because they had to be.
I raised my hand. Then again on the last day he asked us who was glad we took the class.
I couldn't help but raise my hand again. I really enjoyed his lectures. In fact that is part of the reason I am in this particular class (reformation history). He doesn't teach it on campus any more, and so when I became an online student the opportunity to take this class from him was impossible to pass up. He's pretty removed from the class - we just watch pre-recorded class sessions, and the other guy handles pretty much everything else (even though he isn't a doctor). In any case, I'm enjoying it.L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

I'd love to take that class. I wonder if there is a way to audit without paying the billion dollars SEBTS seems to think they should charge.

Your question reminds me of The Legacy of Jonathan Edwards in the Theology of Andrew Fuller by Chris Chun. I haven't seen any material yet focusing on the direct connection between these two great men in a book length. Even though it is not cheap, it is well worth digging in. It is well written and very readable, not to mention the bibliography in it. It couldn't be better for me to see FL publish it.

I suspect if you just showed up to class, they wouldn't say a word. They don't take attendance.
