What you really need is the attention of either Jonathan Watson or Ray Deck [Y]

This encyclopaedia is massive and must have been expensive to produce and to work into the well tagged Logos format.
It is well worth the $30 cost and is very unlikely to go for less given we are both very close to closing AND it would take a very significant number of new bidders to get on board at the last minute to drop the price(because of the high cost involved with such a large encyclopedia).

David is correct. This will close at $30 which is a steal. I originally had a $300 bid on this the first time it was on CP about 15 years ago. This was sitting at about 20-30% before Logos moved it to 100% by fiat. It won't go lower. Be smart and grab this awesome resource. This is one of the best deals you will ever get on Logos.
How 'ecumenical' is this collection?
Extremely...as in it has articles on HInduism, Native Americans, and many other regional cultures. It isn't exhaustive, but its eclectic nature provides material on subject matter, including Biblical subjects, you may not find in many other places.
I'm taking a risk on this one due to low cost. There seem to be some samples from volumes in the public domain here:
http://archive.org/search.php?query=religion%20and%20ethics%20hastings
eg. https://ia600603.us.archive.org/17/items/encyclopaediaofr11hast/encyclopaediaofr11hast.pdf but the file is so big, I can't look through it effectively...
University of New Orleans had a hardbound set of this in the library and I spent hours looking through it...and way more than $30 in nickels making copies of numerous articles, back when nickels were quarters. It isn't a risk.
Just to be clear, there's probably plenty in this you won't use or read, but also plenty you will happy to have.
