Desktop Presenter (Local or Remote) to be incorporated in Proclaim?

Hi,
I appreciate your Proclaim software and the constant work you are doing to provide quality software for the advancement of the kingdom of God. Thank you!
I am curious to know if you are working on an option to include feed from a Desktop Presenter "shot" in Proclaim. We livestream our services and it would be really nice to switch easily to the live feed shot via Desktop Presenter, which would show up on the projector screen for the congregation to view without switching to another program.
Thanks,
Joseph

Our church does this every Sunday, but not in the way you're thinking. We use a software called WireCast to stream the services; however, you could also use this to broadcast to monitors and screens in the church.
We have two computers in our set up. One computer is used as presentation/audio, and the second is only used to stream.
The Presentation computer runs Proclaim and Desktop Presenter. It is also hooked up to a primary monitor and secondary monitor (primary for the operator and secondary for all the screens in the sanctuary). DP is set to capture the secondary monitor and we do not have it capturing audio because it's too delayed. Instead we have all the audio routed to the soundboard and then into the main camera.
The Streaming computer runs WireCast only. We have a BlackMagic video capture card which allows us to hook up the cameras to this computer. The main camera will carry the audio to his computer. So inside of WireCast we have the camera sources, which all use the main cameras audio. Then we have an IP source which talks to Desktop Presenter and sends us all the Proclaim stuff.
I know this sounds complicated, but when you do it a couple times it gets easier. It took me and another AV guy two months to figure this out on our own. There wasn't much information about this so there was a lot of trial and error.
Let me know if you need more/better guidance.

Also, I have to say that WireCast is the BEST streaming software out there right now. It's expensive ($500), but trust me when I say you won't regret it.
Adobe's FMLE is trash and doesn't do anything but stream what you feed it.You need two computers to really be able to do this effectively. Presenting to the audience and streaming is two very different and too difficult for one computer to do.

Is there anyway you can show me a picture of your set up? We have a mac the running our stream through WireCast. We have our sound coming from our mixing board to our camera, back into the computer running WireCast. We have another mac that we run Proclaim with which is connected to another monitor. We also have the Desktop Presenter on the computer running Proclaim.

Hi Sharon, I just wanted to chime in as well. We have a very similar setup as Jared:
We have Wirecast running on its own computer with a Blackmagic capture card.
Then we have a black magic switcher that all the feeds go into (Proclaim running on a Mac and various cameras)
From this switcher we can send video to multiple places, so one output goes to the projectors and the other output goes to the computer running Wirecast.
We too have our audio go straight from the computer to the sound board and then it comes back into the switcher with the cameras, keeping the video and audio in sync.
Sorry I dont really have a good picture of the setup..
