Notes added to a Bible version

When I used the TNIV as my preferred Bible I made many notes attached to phrases. Since they are attached to phrases rather than a verse (reference) the notes only show up in the TNIV, not in other versions. I now use the NIV (latest edition) as my preferred Bible. The phrases with annotations are, in the NIV, in most cases identical to the phrases in the TNIV. Is there any way I can do a batch changing of these notes from the TNIV to the NIV? Or do I have to remake each one individually?

Unfortunately there's no way (that I'm aware of) to batch process notes in that way. You DON'T, however, have to remake each note. Here's where multiple attachment points will be helpful to you. Adding an attachment point to the appropriate text in the NIV'11 will allow the note to appear in both Bibles. If your unfamiliar with attachment points, I suggested them before, and included a screenshot in this thread.

What I REALLY wish for... (and it wouldn't have helped in your current case since TNIV is not an RI) is the ability to attach notes to the surface text of the underlying original language databases (LHB/SBLGNT) so that notes could appear at the word/phrase level (rather than verse level) in ALL RI Bibles!

Many thanks, Reuben! This works well. I select the phrase in the NIV, choose Edit attachment points in the note's menu and choose Attach to selection. I then click the X next to the TNIV entry to remove it, leaving me with just the NIV phrase-attached note that I want. It will take a while to work through them all, but it's manageable. Thank you!
