Does anyone know if a collation is a available between the Patriarchal text (1904 or 1912) and the TR?  If so, where could I find it?  Also, what was the preferred New Testament text of the Greek Orthodox Church prior to 1900?

Thank you,

I'm not aware of anything like that online or elsewhere. However, the EOB:NT notes in its introduction that the TR differs from the PT/Byz in over 1,800 places (1,005 translatable differences).

The various local Orthodox churches had used a number of different Byz-based lectionaries before this point. The idea of the PT project was to adopt a single, Byzantine text that had been in use as a lectionary in Constantinople and elsewhere (going back to the 9th century) and that had a consistent history of transmission over time.

In the few places where a discrepancy arose, Chrysostom's citations were referenced as a tie-breaker.

    Gabe,

Thank you so much for your kind response.  Do you know which TR it was compared with?  Then would the PT virtually equivalent to the Majority Text (Hodges/Farstad) which according to Daniel Wallace differs from the TR in 1,008 translatable differences?

    Thank you,
