Not sure if this is possible, but it would be cool...

I would like to create a handout for the readings of the day and attach my favorite commentary to it... Also, need the ability to limit the length of the commentary so we do not get 20 pages of text. (i.e. Anchor Yale)... Anyone have any thoughts if this is possible?  Thanks!

It is a good idea and would be great to create solely using Verbum.  Once we have the Lectionary for Mass it will be a little easier to do.

For now, you would need to go to some external source for the specific language of the reading (www.usccb.org in the US comes to mind).  Then you could add whatever commentary you wanted.

I'm not sure how the functionality of limiting commentary would work.  Sounds arbitrary to me.

It might be possible to look more toward one or more resources that provide a reflection rather than a commentary and that would probably keep the handouts smaller in size.

    Again, a good idea.
