Found Active Resource
Ctrl+tab revealed to me the active window today. I watched carefully as I cycled through windows using the Ctr.+tab to see if there were any noticable difference to the resurce windows. I saw that there actually is a very slight dotted line accenting the active resource. This is almost imperceptible. Could we please darken the dotted line to make this stand out more?

I would also recommend making the window slightly darker as well as increasing the visibility of the darkened outline.

Same here, a little darker or even a different colour that makes it more distinguishable.
