MPG Video audio does not play???

Ok Team!

I'm perplexed! Before your last update I could add a MPG video and it worked fine.

The same video I used previously will not play the audio track now?

My presentation is call "Ten Commandments"

It worked previously but not now???

It plays perfectly using the windows media player with audio.

It worked before with audio why not now??

I really need this for out Ten Commandment Sunday services!

The video is an interview with some of the congregation asking the question:

"Name one thing you have learner from your mother or father"

Honor you mother and father (commandment)

I'm not able to play this video file using Windows Media Player outside of Proclaim. You say this same video worked for you previously? Do you recall when?

You could try uninstalling and installing the older version available at the links below.

Windows - http://downloads.logoscdn.com/Proclaim/Installer/1.28.0.0763/ProclaimSetup.exe

Mac - http://downloads.proclaimonline.com/mac/dmg/Proclaim%201.28.763.dmg

You'll have to ignore the update prompt when running. Interested if this works for you because I'm unable to play the video on my system. Also interested if you're having issues with other videos, specifically those that come with Proclaim (e.g. Bible Screen videos).

Just wondering, could you play my video without the audio? My video plays in proclaim but is missing the audio track,

I'm not using my video this Sunday but want to use it in the future. The presentation I've been working on for tomorrow's service does play the audio tracks of the inserted you tube videos. I created a presentation called Ten Commandments to view our church made video to test it on our church screens.Right now I'm fearful of trying an older version and losing all my hard work. My video did work properly in the past but not now?? Church motion graphics and videos from Proclaim are working properly but they do not have audio tracks, I can see my interview play in proclaim but the audio is missing. My video plays properly with audio using windows media player. I purchased a screen capture program called movavi so I could create my video without all the outakes. The captures are saved as .mpg files. This gave me the opportunity to create a more professional video. I then took the captured .mpg file and added a title screen using Power Director 13 and produced it. Once again, my video did play properly before and plays perfectly using windows media player but not in Proclaim??

I just used Movavi to capture my video screen and it was saved as a .mp4 and does work properly in proclaim but not the .mpg

I can use the .mp4 but still really confused about the produced .mpg video.

The .mp4 video works so I will use this in the future with Proclaim. Still curious about the .mpg videos not working in Proclaim.

Are the MPEG files being created MPEG-2 files? If so I've had trouble in the past with the mpeg-2 files. I would make sure that you are exporting to mpeg-1 files. However, I would go with mp4s anyway. My understanding is that if you use mpeg files they are transcoded to a lower bitrate anyway when uploaded to Proclaim. You can use mp4's natively and they won't be transcoded resulting in a better quality video. Just my 2 cents worth. Hope you figure things out.
