Using Lectionary layout for other types of searches

I enjoy using the Biblical Event Navigator to help me compartmentalize and categorize the biblical stories I am reading.  When you open the hierarchy down to its lowest level, it provides you with a bible verse(s) to open.  When you click on them, it by default opens up the factbook.

However, is there a way that when I click on them, it will open up the same view as the Lectionary layout, complete with bible passage, commentary, explorer, and cited by tools?  I find this view to be the most comprehensive for me.

Thank you!

Hi Brian! Welcome to the forums!

What you are asking isn't possible. But there is a workaround that will basically do what you are asking...

First, open up the Lectionary Layout.

Then, open up the Bible Event Navigator. Drag it over to the left hand panel, next to the Lectionary and the Missal. That way you can see it full size. As you click on the events, your Bible, Cited By, etc. will navigate.

Then, if you like, save a new Layout by clicking on Layouts in the upper right and then choosing "Save as named layout." You'll then be able to open it up from there anytime.

That worked perfect.  Thanks for offering the creative solution.  And a final thank you to you for the Verbum training videos.  They've made a significant difference in my understanding of Verbum's tools!
