Twelve Ordinary Men-John MacArthur-Paragraph Missing!
In the book "Twelve Ordinary Men" by John MacArthur, the last paragraph is missing from the Introduction in the ebook edition here on Logos. Can someone please shed some light on this?
For clarification:
The publication date is 2002 by Thomas Nelson, and yes, it is the Logos Edition alabama24
The screenshot shows the last paragraph of the Introduction in the Hard Copy of the book that I have; not the beginning.
I checked this book on Kindle Direct and it is complete just like the Hard Copy that I own. Nothing is missing.
The original screen shot showed the title "introduction." Did you have a second screen shot snapped to a second one?

For clarification: the PRINT book is 2002? I know there was a second edition in 2006. Just making sure there isn't an "edition" issue.
alabama24 i just removed the word INTRODUCTION because it seemed that you were getting confused as to this paragraph being at the beginning of the introduction, and not at the end. But it is the last paragraph of the Introduction that is missing.
Yes this is the 2002 PRINT book.
Thanks for clarifying.
It's missing from my copy also which has the same copyright date of 2002. I purchased my copy direct from the MacArthur site when his Library 2 was on sale. I no longer have my printed copy here at home to compare with as it's in the church library.

Thank you for the report Kenute. I have added this resource to the correction queue (with no estimate completion time, sorry.)
Thank you Jannie van Niekerk It is much appreciated.
Kenute, you must read with two eyes open! One on Logos and the other on print. This is like the third or fourth catch you have brought to light in the last few weeks.
Actually John Knight if I have the HARD COPY, and I buy the digital copy in LOGOS; I go over the digital copy with a fine tooth comb (so to speak) to make sure that it is the same. What bothers me is that I am finding so many mistakes, and even paragraphs missing in the LOGOS Editions of these books. We do not pay for a book, or books, with missing paragraphs, and words spelled wrongly. We pay for the digital copy to be the same as the HARD COPY.
I also realize that this too could be the mistake of the publishers themselves in creating the digital copy. So whenever I find something that is wrong, you will hear from me in the forums - with the intent of getting it corrected.
Kenute,
I believe the missing text issue has been resolved. I have no estimate date on when the book will be shipped though.
Thanks again for your help.
Jannie
Logos' QA has suffered for sometime now. They put out more "products" but they lack correct footnotes, hyperlinks, and it seems, entire sections.
When will Bob fix these glaring issues?

I think that they get most stuff right. They are constantly pushing new products to market because we demand it and they want to meet demand and keep us satisfied. I think that, in looking at the broader context, in proportion to the number of resources they put out, they make very few errors. I can see the frustration when it's a product we really like, but I just don't see this as a glaring issue, IMHO. Also keep in mind that a LOT of the errors that get reported on these forums as Vyrso errors (not yours here, I know), which means these are not Logos / Faithlife issues at all, but are publisher errors. Im just reminding everyone so we are fair to the Faithlife team...as it can seem that there are more errors on their part than there really are if we don't keep that part in mind.
I really appreciate Logos pumping out so much material, even if it does mean QA suffers a little. Thankfully, they have a loyal and patient customer base like us who will report the issues and wait graciously for the corrections.
Thank you Jannie van Niekerk.
Am very happy that this has been resolved.
