GENERAL BUG? Libronix account no longer tide with Logos account?

Hello Ethan,
welcome to the Logos user forums!
Sorry to hear about your issues. Yes, from reports on the forum it seems that the Libronix license server is currently not active, thus no automatic up-/down-sync of license information between Libronix and Logos 4+ takes place. However, this should not mean that you lose resources you already had in Logos! I can only suggest calling Customer Service and clarifying your account and licenses. Future Libronix products may be licensed for L4+ by going through http://Logos.com/redeem and inputting the product key.
Hope this helps a bit.
The new login to Faithlife sites should be independent from this whole thing: Faithlife is setting up a single-sign-on system and by doing so invalidated the old automatic logins (cookie-based?). But this should solve itself.
Have joy in the Lord!

Hi Ethan,
I'd be happy to look at your account and check on the status of your Libronix licenses. Could you provide both the email address you use to sign into Logos 6 and your Libronix Customer ID (from the About dialog in Libronix)? This will let me verify that they're linked correctly.

The license server is still up and running just fine; there have been multiple license backups in the last week. However, some LDLS3 clients are unable to connect to it; we believe this is due to recent Windows security updates that break the web service component used in LDLS3.
And if you backed up your licenses in the past, Logos 6 can download them. The only need to back up licenses now is if you somehow acquired new licenses in LLS format (pre-LDLS), which is an extremely rare case. (Any Libronix licenses activated with a serial number can easily be unlocked at logos.com/redeem or over the phone with CS.)

Correct. An inability to Backup Licenses in LDLS3 won't remove the existing licenses.

Thanks Bradley for your input.
Just to make sure - I thought backup licenses was happening in a local file on Libronix user's hard disk and we were discussing synchronize licenses here - right?
A second usage scenario besides installing Libronix resources on L4+ is making recently bought resources available in Libronix (some users say they still use it).

Sorry for my confusing use of terminology; I was talking about Synchronise Licenses. I had forgotten that it's called "Synchronise Licenses" in the UI. (I was thinking of the server-side operation, which is called "Backup".)
