logos 6 and sermon starter guide

i recently upgraded to Logos 6 but now the system will not load some resources that are clearly ,available.recently i began work on a sermon from John 21:15-17,19 (Jesus and peter). when i attempted to load the sermon starter guide, the following fields did not populate; theme, sermons, thematic outlines, and journals. of the several topics that logos 6 identified with John 12:15. not one populated the sermons field. yet a search of logos sermons ( https://sermons.logos.com) reveals a wide variety of sermon resources. what gives?

Does it matter?  I had the guide in logos 5,  silver. So all I did was move to the 6 starter.

Sure. Knowing what you own helps us to know why a tool might not work. The "sermon starter guide" is dependent upon both the "Preaching Themes" and "Thematic Outlines" datasets. If you don't own them, it won't work.

so my five package had the sermon themes data set . but yet now it appears that this set is not in my logos 6. i'm searching for a tab to help me locate what data sets are actually loaded currently, any idea how to locate those?  the library only shows loaded resources, correct?

The Sermons section of the Sermon Starter Guide draws from sermons you own that have been tagged by Logos to work in that section. I get just one hit (four sermons from John MacArthur) for your passage. It is new for Logos 6. (Or was that in Logos 5??. Easy to forget.)

Logos sermons show up under the sermons.logos.com section (you may have to add it to your guide).

Journals is a new Logos 6 section that draws from a tagged collection of journals that Logos is producing. You'd have to own those journals. The only one I have for that passage is Semeia 1.

To find out your databases, click in the question mark in the circle icon and click on About. Databases on listed on the LHS of the panel that opens up.
