I can't comment on the content, as I don't have the series. The cost is very good though, and I would jump on it if I had it available. I like the fact that the focus of the series is on a person rather than a book. Most commentaries focus on a book of the Bible.

This is a very good character based series Liturgical Press Interfaces Collection (15 vols.)

Thanks MJ for pointing this one out. We now have at least 2 that focus on characters. The Liturgical Press collection appears to be more scholarly.

It's aimed at high school senior/college freshman i.e. a bit more scholarly but very accessible.
