I was raised on the KJV and that is the text I feel comfortable with; thou, it appears the support for this translation could be enhanced in Logos 6; for example:
1. Pericope support, as a minimum it would be nice to have the Scofield subheadings; after all, wasn't Scofield the one who introduced this feature?
2. There are several excellent KJV reference Bibles; for example: The Cambridge Concord, Old Scofield, Thompson, and Brevier Blackface.
3. Chain references, it would be nice to hover over a superscript and see the chain reference for the word.
I have multiple KJV Reference Bibles in hard copy with features that I cannot find in Logos.
Previously, I used Logos exclusively for Bible study, now I have 4 Reference Bibles that I keep by my side, it would be nice to be able to utilize these features in Logos.
Logos works great for library management; though, executing as a scripture interprets scripture Bible referencing system, the hard copy appears to be superior.
In short, what might be beneficial is to create a Logos Bible reference feature (engine), having the feature product owner spend time with some of the more excellent reference Bibles, mastering usage and translate that into a set of Bible Reference features to be implemented. Hint: this is more than just center column like superscript links, that already exists in Logos as a rudimentary implementation.
God bless you and keep you,
Ken
