Andrews Bible Commentary?
What's the expected publishing date for the Andrews Bible Commentary? There were a series of articles published in 2013 indicating it should've been released at GC. But given the lack of news, I'm guessing that didn't happen?
Also, is a Logos variant expected when its released?

and on a related note, is there a known target date for the Seventh-day Adventist International Bible Commentary?

I am not part of the one-volume Andrews Study Bible project, but I can give a general comment on the SDAIBC. The writing for some of the volumes is done, and are now in the peer reviewing and editing phase. Most volumes however have a manuscript deadline at the end of this year (2015). After that comes extensive peer reviewing, time for author to incorporate suggestions, review by the editor, committee review. Then lay-out, proof-reading, etc etc. My guess is that we will start seeing volumes ready for purchase in 2017 or 2018

Linden, you may want to start with Andrews University.

Andrews University Press says they have no publicly available release date they can share with me.

The tragic passing of Erno Gyeresi at AU Press this Spring (due to cancer) is probably a big reason for the delay, and they might not be able to give another date until he has been replaced as an editor. It could also be that some of the authors have not turned in their manuscripts yet. A lot of variables in a big project like this.

Hoping they give consent for it to be released in digital format the same time as paper. Paper and fine print seem to be bosom buddies in commentaries, and who wants to carry around a 12 > volume commentary? Give it to me in Logos and I can put the entire thing on my phone, graphics and all.
Would not like to know the cost to ship it overseas. Hopefully it will be printed in all Divisions of the world church.

Lynden,
Asked about a digital version too. They couldn't give a date for that either only to say its likely a digital version would be available at some point.
