BUG: Dynamic Pricing on World Meeting of Families Bundle?
I used the word BUG in the title to ensure this is reviewed by Verbum. It may not be a bug. I'm not 100% sure but I think there may be some issue with dynamic pricing on the new World Meeting of Families Bundle.
I went through and checked that I own all the resources in the bundle except Man to Man, Dad to Dad. I am getting a dynamic price on the website of $12.95 USD for the bundle.
When I look at the individual resource apart from the bundle I see a price of $9.76 USD.
I do have academic status so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe something else I'm missing. It seems weird.

Have you checked the "More details about these resources" section, to double-check that you really do own all the other resources?

Thanks for pointing me to that. I had not reviewed and I see there is an indicator for "new to you".
That said, I'm still a little confused. It says I would get Casti Connubii and Humanae Vitae in addition to the resource I already mentioned above. However, I have both of those resources as part of the Papal Encyclicals resource.
Maybe it's some other version of those resources?

Do all the collections do that? I never realized that. That makes it a lot easier to figure out what I own and what is new. In this case, I already own 10 of the 33 volumes, which gives me 42% off for dynamic pricing. I haven't priced out each volume I do not own individually, though.

That would be my guess. Just like having certain works of the Early Church Fathers in the big 38 volume set won't indicate that you own St. Augustine's Confessions as an individual volume, the same probably holds true here.

Yes, it's a different version. You own the version where all the encyclicals are bundled together in 5 volumes. These versions are separate resources.

Yes they do. This feature has been live for about a month, but it's never been announced.

Well, at least that means I've only been oblivious for a month. [:P] Thanks for pointing that out. This will come in handy.

Personally, I'd like to have the option of buying those two particular separate resources without buying the whole bundle (the other best parts of which--from my perspective--I already have).

It may be difficult. I see that the particular version of Casti Connubii is part of a resource set that is still "Gathering Interest". The version of Humanae Vitae is not listed as being part of any other set - even though it is included in several other resources.

It's a bit strange. But clearly both resources are live and FL can sell licenses for them, so it probably is within FL's power to fulfill my request, whether or not FL might want to.

Sometimes publishers require resources to be sold in bundles so it may not be in Faithlife's power to affect this

Indeed, although this is not your normal publisher.
