Send to Kindle??

I recently purchased this Vyrso resource and was looking to send it to my Kindle. However, it is not displayed as an option. Is this a simple oversight that can be corrected easily?

I hope so. Three main reasons why books aren't "send to kindle" enabled:

    • Compiled file too large for Kindle service
    • Publisher restrictions on file
    • Oversite / haven't converted file yet.

I dont <think> it is 1 or 2. Hopefully FL will chime in soon.

If I'm not mistaken, 2 can only apply to logos resources, not to Vyrso books.

Whether 1 is possible, you can find out by looking at the file size of the resource on your computer.

Zondervan Vyrso books can't be sent to Kindle.

This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Unfortunately that isn't the case. For example: None of the 10 Zondervan Vyrso resources I just checked are "send to kindle" enabled. ALL Vyrso resources are mobile enabled, but you can't even manage Zondervan titles from your desktop (i.e. send a zondervan resource to the Logos iPad app).

The "send to kindle" feature is great (I love it!), but will likely be limited in a number of cases... furthermore, the feature will always be at the whim of both publishers AND Amazon. The later could, of course, pull or limit the feature at any time. If I were Amazon, I wouldn't want a competitor allowing users to email books to kindle.

That is probably a good starting point, but the "send to kindle" version isn't the same file as the Vyrso/Logos edition, so it isn't infallible.

I will see if I can find an answer.
