Parallel Bible Versions
Perhaps this has been raised, but I already miss this feature from 3.0. I hope it can be restored. The parallel column report of 3.0 makes zeroing in on differences in translation easy. The 4.0 style is pretty much useless, in my opinion.

do you realize that if you stretch the text comparison window far enough horizontally they will be in columns rather then stacked? In fact I believe you can force this by right clicking on the icon and changing automatic to horizontal.

I noticed that while in the text comparison window, my lay out was set to "automatic layout" and it came out vertically.
You can change from "auto" to horizontal or vertical layouts by clicking the drop down menu from the icon in the top left.
However, I have not found out how to add other translations to my versions on display. I have four, NIV, ESV, Lexham English Bible and AMP. Only the first two have been selected by me as they are "prioritrized" the other two were selected by the program.
Does anyone know how to add, remove, or change the Bibles selected?

yes. set up a collection, tag, or give your favorite bibles a star rating. then when you click in the Bible's box that collection or tag will become available to you.

Phil,
Thanks for this piece of info. Putting the report in a floating pane worked to align the verses horizontally while the versions are in columns vertically. Just what I wanted.

Thanks Phil, that worked.
Its fiddly but clever. I didn't spot the click on Bibles selected box - missed it!

Yes I agree and if you float the window you can make it bigger (yes I know you know that - you know what I mean![:P])

I was trying to "click" on Stars but nothing seemed to happen.
