Catholic Answers Collection: Dynamic Sale Price?

I feel like I probably asked a similar question before, but here goes anyway.
For the Catholic Answers collection, I picked up the freebie and the "plus one", yet the "dynamic price" is still the same as the sale price: $99.99.
Is that as it should be, or should the two volumes I own knock off some of the sale price?

Good catch! Our system was trying to give you the best discount from either the sale or your dynamic price. I've corrected it to ensure you get both now. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks! I thought that both would apply, but I wasn't sure if I was misremembering. That knocked off almost $5.
