Sermon Recording

Sermon recording is rather nifty. I especially can see use case in churches where they aren't already recording they can just add a digital adapter to their computer (15 bucks) and record off of the sound board.

I'm not sure that I like sending folks to another website (faithlife/soundfaith) to listen/view. Or embedding into the website. Guess I just like controlling the media.

While I can download the audio, it would be more beneficial to me to also be able to download a simple video file with the slides for uploading video to my site. We are looking at implementing a full video system but this would sure tide me over until then.

Just a thought, I do appreciate all the work put into the new features.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! We are excited about this feature and we want to make it suit more use cases. So hearing real feedback is great for us. I'll make sure this gets considered.

    Thanks again

p.s. What concerns do you have about the widget? Seems to be the same as embedding a video from YouTube or Vimeo?

    Thanks for the feedback Benjamin!

Guess I just like controlling the media.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do with the recordings from your church?

Our Church uses sermonaudio.com for our messages. Any possibility of linkage with them in the future?

    Thanks!

Videos would normally go to vimeo.

Audio is uploaded to amazon s3 via a Wordpress site. im working with a new church now and there's no set way of doing these things yet. Just what I've done in the past.

Id like access to a video so I can include it in a podcast feed.
