I'm glad to see and have the Orthodox Base Packages. The content of most of these base packages are of from the Eastern Orthodox Churches. I would like to have more resources from the Oriental Orthodox Churches like Egypt and Ethiopia. Thanks!

Thank you! We'll continue to seek to acquire more of that content. If you have any suggestions on particular publishers or titles, please pass them along.

Thanks for the quick replay!![Y] It's a great start!  I grew up in Oriental Orthodox Churches and I'm not fully happy on the content of the resources. Most of them are from Russia. I Know there are limited English resources from other Oriental churches. I believe you have more access and information than I have. Please keep on growing the Orthodox resources.

  • Gabe I'm trying to get Armenian sources for you, those are tough to find!

There are many resources by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III available on the web i.e. already in electronic format including IIRC Bible commentaries on several books of the Bible. That might be a place Faithlife could start with comparatively little cost. I know I've suggested COEPA: Coptic Orthodox Electronic Publishing Australia before ... I don't remember their new name unfortunately. And the Coptic Books section of http://www.coptic.org/ should give publishers.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

  • The problem there is most of HH books are poorly made into English, I wouldn't want those here. That being said logos had to contact the publishers to work out a deal etc etc..
