Importing from OpenSong - can not select files

I am currently considering moving from OpenSong to Proclaim. I have experimented with the OpenSong integration. I have exported a number of songs from OpenSong to a directory. However when I attempt to open the directory in Proclaim, I am unable to select any of the song files. They just appear listed, but greyed out.

I have tried using both the Windows version (using Windows 7) and the Mac version (using Mavericks) the result is the same. I am using the most recent version of Proclaim (1.31), having just downloaded it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

(For the record I am using OpenSong 1.7 which exports simple XML files)

    Hi Mike,

Can you verify that the exported OpenSong file has the .xml suffix? Trying it here on the latest Windows version and I can select .xml files without issue.

If you attach one of those song files to this thread I could try that as well.

As you suspected the XML files generated by OpenSong do not have the XML suffix (pretty poor).

Apologies, in my original post, I should not have mentioned Windows 7. However the problem certainly exists with Mavericks as there is no way to change the suffix filter, screenshot attached.

I guess a small shell script to add .xml suffix should do the trick.
